Cowles Elementary needs hats, gloves and mittens. Help us, help others. Consider what you can do! We will be collecting these items until December 3rd. See Beth Schmitz or any one from the Mission/Outreach Team with questions.
Each year we also "adopt" a family from Windsor Elementary School and provide Christmas gifts for the family. More information will be coming with what type of items are requested.

This month Rev. Don Elly will begin a 6-week class on Coping with Loss and Grief. All of us experience losses—of loved ones, marriages, friendships, hopes and dreams, health, our way of life. Our society often tries to deny the negative, acknowledging our losses and grieving appropriately is an important part of living well. If you know someone who might benefit from this class or a grief support group, please consider inviting them to come. The class is being planned for either Monday or Thursday evenings. Please contact the office for more information or to get the books and sign-up.
“Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner” is a new program to begin this fall for newcomers and anyone else who is interested. It consists of six to eight people in each group. Each group will be determined after sign-ups. Each person or each couple in the group will take their turn at hosting a potluck dinner. The host prepares the main dish and requests each person to bring items to finish out the meal. The host also invites an interesting person to the dinner who is a mystery. The secret guest’s name is not revealed until folks arrive at the host's home for dinner. The benefit of these small dinner groups is fellowship and connections that are made. Plus, they are a lot of fun! To participate, email the church today at info@windsorpc.org
